1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Raw rice |
1/2 | Coconut - grated | |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Cooked rice |
Salt - to taste | ||
Oil - for frying |
Wash the raw rice and grind it with grated coconut and cooked rice to a fine paste. The batter should be fairly thick. Add salt to taste. Keep the chapati tava on the fire and rub it with a little oil. Pour a ladle full of batter, cover it with a lid and cook until done.
