| 1/2 | Coconut | |
| 1 | Ginger root | |
| 6 | Green chiles - (to 8) | |
| 1 | Onion | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Raisins |
| A small ball of tamarind | ||
| A small piece of jaggery | ||
| Salt - to taste |
Grind all ingredients together to a fine paste without water.
