1 cup | 237ml | Coconut milk |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chile powder |

2 cups | 474ml | Yogurt in 1 cup of water |

Oil or ghee for cooking |
Make a paste of onions, ginger, garlic, turmeric and chile powder in a blender with little water Blend cinnamon, cloves, and cardamoms without any water. (dry masala) Apply salt and turmeric to the prawns and keep aside. Heat oil or ghee or a mixture of both. Add bay leaves, prawns and fry for a minute. Now mix yogurt with ground paste. Stir fry the prawns with this mixture until oil separates. Add coconut milk and salt. Cook until a thick gravy forms. Remove from heat and garnish with dry ground masala.
