Pol Sambol (Seasoned Coconut) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Green chillies - chopped fine | |
1 | Onion - (60 g), chopped fine | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chilli powder - (2 g) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper powder - (2 g) |
1/2 | Coconut - grated | |
1 | Lemon - juice of | |
Salt - to taste |
Mix the green chillies, onions, chilli powder and pepper well. Toss in the grated coconut or 'pol'. Add lemon juice and salt to taste. Serve with bread, chapatis or rice.
