Pol Sambol (Seasoned Coconut)

Recipe Ingredients

2   Green chillies - chopped fine
1   Onion - (60 g), chopped fine
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlChilli powder - (2 g)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlPepper powder - (2 g)
1/2   Coconut - grated
1   Lemon - juice of
  Salt - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Mix the green chillies, onions, chilli powder and pepper well. Toss in the grated coconut or 'pol'. Add lemon juice and salt to taste. Serve with bread, chapatis or rice.
