Parsi Fried Rice Recipe - Cooking Index

3 | Black cardamoms | |

5 | Black peppercorns | |
1 | Onion - sliced (large) | |
100 | Vanaspathi | |
500 | Water - (3 1/3 cups) | |
Salt - to taste | ||
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Basmati rice |
Brown sugar in cooker body. Add whole spices, sliced onions, vanaspati. Fry onions until golden brown. Add rice and fry for a few minutes. Add water and salt. Close lid and simmer until rice is cooked.
