Masala Khichidi Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Leftover green khichidi |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cumin & mustard seeds. |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Urad dal |
| 1 | Curry leaves | |
| 2 | Green chillies | |
| 1/2 | Lemon - juice of | |
| 1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Chopped coriander |
| 1 | Asafoetida | |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chillipowder and turmeric |
| Salt to taste |
Heat oil, break chillies to big pieces. First add urad dal, then seeds
and curry leaves and chillies. Also asafoetida. Now add khichidi lemon,
a chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix well and cook covered for 2
minutes garnish with coriander.
Serve hot.
