Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlButter
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozThinly sliced onion
3 tablespoons 45mlSlivered almonds
1   Curry powder - optional
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozGolden raisins
2 cups 320g / 11ozHot cooked long grain rice

Recipe Instructions

In a saucepan, melt butter; add onion, almonds and curry powder. Cook until golden brown. Stir in raisins; heat until the raisins plump, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in rice. Serve immediately.
