Indian Ginger Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
| 8 cups | 1896ml | Water |
| 8 teaspoons | 40ml | Ground ginger |
| 5 1/2 tablespoons | 82ml | Honey |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Lime juice |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly ground pepper |
| 2 1/2 cups | 400g / 14oz | Cooked rice |
| 8 | Lime |
serves 8
Put the water into a soup kettle and bring to a boil. Add the ground ginger. Cook over a medium-low heat for 3 or 4 minutes. Add the honey, lime juice, pepper, and cooked rice. Stir well. Serve hot.
