8 cups 1896mlWater
8 teaspoons 40mlGround ginger
5 1/2 tablespoons 82mlHoney
2/3 cup 157mlLime juice
1 teaspoon 5mlFreshly ground pepper
2 1/2 cups 400g / 14ozCooked rice
8   Lime

Recipe Instructions

serves 8

Put the water into a soup kettle and bring to a boil. Add the ground ginger. Cook over a medium-low heat for 3 or 4 minutes. Add the honey, lime juice, pepper, and cooked rice. Stir well. Serve hot.
