Indian Curry Chole With Raisins

Recipe Ingredients

1   Chickpeas or garbanzo beans - (15 oz)
1   Crushed or diced tomatoes - (15 oz)
3   Boiled potatoes - chopped
1/2 cup 80g / 2.8ozWhite raisins
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozOnion - chopped (large)
2 teaspoons 10mlMinced garlic
2 teaspoons 10mlMinced ginger root
2 tablespoons 30mlHot curry paste - (or)
3 tablespoons 45mlCurry powder
1 teaspoon 5mlCoriander powder
1 teaspoon 5mlGround cumin
1 teaspoon 5mlChili powder
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt

Recipe Instructions

Saute onions, garlic & ginger in (as little as possible) olive oil. Add tomatoes, & continue frying. Add all the spices & continue sauteing for about 5 min. Add chick peas, potatoes & raisins let simmer about 15 min. & serve alone or over rice.

Serves 4 to 6
