Green Tandoori Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
5 oz | 142g | Plain yogurt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Veg. Oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lemon juice - ( or bottled ) |
4 | Garlic cloves - chopped | |
2 | Green chiles - chopped ( optional ) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Fresh mint leaves - chopped |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Fresh coriander leaves - chopped |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Green masala paste |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin seeds - roasted and ground |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garam masala - ( see link ) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
4 oz | 113g | Milk |
Put yogurt, oil, lemon, garlic, chiles, leaves and paste into blender and pulse until smooth. Add remaining stuff, except milk, and pulse again. Add enough milk until mix is easy to pour. Color should be creamy dark green. Put in fridge until needed.
