1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cardamom seeds |
1 | Cinnamon | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin seeds - roasted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cloves |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg - freshly ground |
Into a hot cast iron frying pan, put the cumin seeds. Toss for about 30 seconds and remove seeds.
Mix spices together and put into grinder and grind to fine powder.
Put into glass container and let stand for at least 2 days before use.
