Citrus Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fruity olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sherry vinegar - or to taste |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Soy sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Peeled fresh ginger - finely julienned |
1 | Cayenne pepper | |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely-minced fresh mint |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Fresh orange sections |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Fresh grapefruit sections |
1 | Lime or lemon - peeled, seeded, and sectioned | |
Honey - to taste |
Combine the olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, cayenne, salt, pepper and mint in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
Pour over citrus sections and add drops of honey to taste depending on tartness of fruit. Stir gently to combine.
