Fish Or Shrimp Salan Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Onion chopped | |
Salt to taste | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Haldi powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garam masala powder |
1 | Dried methi | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Yogurt |
1 | Tomato | |
2 | Green chili - up to 3 | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil - up to 3 |
Saute the onion in oil until transparent. Add all the spices, tomato and yogurt. Mix well and add the fish pieces. Add a few tbs. of water if necessary. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes. Shrimps take lesser time to cook. Serve with naan or boiled rice.
