Chinese Black Bean Vinaigrette Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Minced garlic |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Minced fresh ginger |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced shallots |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sesame oil |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Canola oil |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Unseasoned rice vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Thai-style chili sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Honey |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Fermented black beans - rinsed |
1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Minced cilantro |
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Whisk together until combined. This may be prepared a day in advance. It is best not to use a food processor.
This recipe yields about 2 cups of vinaigrette.
