Coconut Halvah Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 139g / 4.9oz | Fresh coconut - finely grated |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Milk |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cardamom seed - crushed |
Rose water |
Mix grated coconut with milk. Bring to boil, simmer 1/2 hour (stir frequently). Add sugar: keep cooking, stir constantly until very thick (15 min). Add cardamom seed and stir well.
Turn out, sprinkle rose water on it, cut.
