Banana Soynut Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine or shortening |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Bananas - mashed |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vanilla soymilk |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Roasted soynuts - coarsely chopped |
Preheat oven to 350F. Coat a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with vegetable cooking spray. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, bananas and soymilk with electric mixer. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in soynuts. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour or more, until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
