Recipe Ingredients

1 1/8 lbs 510g / 17ozBoiled potatoes - peeled and mashed
3 tablespoons 45mlCornstarch
1/2 cup 118mlGreen peas - boiled
1/2   Lemon - juice of
1 teaspoon 5mlCumin powder
1 teaspoon 5mlRed chile powder
  Salt - to taste
  Oil - for frying

Recipe Instructions

Mix all the ingredients well, except the oil. Divide into 12 equal portions and make balls. Flatten each between the palms into discs.

Heat oil in a fry pan and shallow fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp on both sides.

Drain and pat dry on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
