Aloo Chana Chaat - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Boiled potatoes - peeled and diced | |
1 can | Chick peas - drained | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Red chile powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Roasted cumin powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chaat masala |
2 | Green chiles, deseed - finely chopped | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped coriander leaves |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - finely chopped (small) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tomato - (deseeded), chopped (medium) |
1 | Lemons - juice of, up to 1 | |
Salt - to taste |
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well. Taste and adjust the chile powder, salt and lemon juice to get a tangy and spicy taste.
Serve in individual bowls. This can be served as a starter to a main meal or even as a salad in a Mughlai meal.
