Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozLamb, cut into chunks
1 teaspoon 5mlChile powder (more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlTurmeric
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlMustard seeds
1/3 teaspoon 1.7mlOnion seeds
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlFenugreek seeds
2 teaspoons 10mlGinger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon 5mlDry mango powder
4 tablespoons 60mlOil
2   Lemons
  Salt to taste

Recipe Instructions

Heat oil in a pan, add lamb pieces, salt, ginger-garlic paste and cook until all the water evaporates. Take half of mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds, blend them to a fine powder, and add to the lamb pieces. Also add dry mango powder, garam masala to the pieces and remove from heat.

Heat a little oil in another pan, fry remaining fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, onion seeds and 1/2 tsp. chile powder. Add this to the above lamb pieces. Add lemon juice to the pieces to increase the flavor.

Serve with plain rice.
