| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Flank steak |
| 1 | Consomme - (10 ounces) | |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Red wine |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Soy sauce |
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Sliced green onions |
| 1 | Garlic - minced | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lime juice |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
Trim fat from steak; score in 1 1/2" squares on both sides. Place in large shallow dish.
Combine consomme, wine, soy sauce, green onions, garlic, lime juice, and brown sugar in bowl; mix well. Pour over steak.
Marinate, covered, in refrigerator for 8 hour
