Teriyaki-Glazed Turkey Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 78ml | Honey |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Soy sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Grated fresh gingerroot |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Finely chopped celery |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Thinly sliced green onions |
4 | Hamburger buns - toasted |
Combine honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic in small bowl until well blended. Mix together turkey, celery and green onions in large bowl.
Blend in 3 tablespoons honey-glaze mixture. Divide mixture into 4 (1/2- to 3/4-inch-thick) patties.
Place patties on oiled grill, 4 to 6 inches from hot coals.
Grill, turning 2 to 3 times, brushing generously with glaze, until patties are well browned and cooked through. Serve in buns.
