Teriyaki Steak Recipe - Cooking Index
4 cups | 948ml | 3/4" thick NY strip steaks (small) or 2-3 lb flank steaks |
1 1/4 cups | 200g / 7.1oz | Light brown sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Soy sauce |
1 1/2 | Gingerroot - peel, grate | |
5 | Garlic - crushed | |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Sesame oil |
Trim and score the steaks.
Arrange steak in shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour over steak. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 3 hrs or overnight, turning occasionally.
Broil or grill to desired doneness. If using flank steak, slice diagonally across grain before serving.
