Teriyaki Steak

Recipe Ingredients

4 cups 948ml3/4" thick NY strip steaks (small) or 2-3 lb flank steaks
1 1/4 cups 200g / 7.1ozLight brown sugar
1 cup 237mlSoy sauce
1 1/2   Gingerroot - peel, grate
5   Garlic - crushed
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlSesame oil

Recipe Instructions

Trim and score the steaks.

Arrange steak in shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour over steak. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 3 hrs or overnight, turning occasionally.

Broil or grill to desired doneness. If using flank steak, slice diagonally across grain before serving.
