Tangy Grilled Sirloin Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Steak - sirloin boneless | |
Marinade | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Ketchup |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pepper - lemon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Mustard - dry |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper - cayenne |
3 | Hot pepper sauce |
Combine all ingredients except steak in small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Prepare grill.
Place steak on grill rack over medium coals.
Grill steak 16-20 minutes for rare to med, turning once.
Brush cooked side frequently with sauce. Carve steak into thin slices and serve with remaining sauce.
