Steak Port Antonio Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Rum |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Shallots - chopped |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parsley - chopped |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
4 | Beef steaks |
In saucepan, combine rum and shallots; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 2 minutes. Stir in butter, parsley, lime juice and Tabasco sauce.
Brush steaks with rum butter.
Grill or broil steaks 6" from heat. Cook about 8 minutes, turning steak once.
Brush with rum butter occasionally. Heat any remaining rum butter to boil and serve with steaks.
Serve with additional Tabasco sauce if desired.
