Spicy Shrimp Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Shelled large shrimp |
Marinade | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Catsup |
1 cup | 237ml | Olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 | Garlic cloves - crushed | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano - crushed |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco sauce |
1/8 cup | 29ml | Fresh orange juice |
In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the shrimp. Mix thoroughly with a whisk. Add shrimp and let marinate 1 to 2 hours. Set shrimp on medium hot grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Baste shrimps continually while grilling. Dip sizzling hot shrimp in remaining sauce, and serve immediately.
