Spiced Apple & Chicken Kabobs Recipe - Cooking Index
16 oz | 454g | Spiced crab apples - cut in |
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Boneless - skinless chicken |
Halves - cut into | ||
4 | Bacon - cut into inch | |
10 | Green onions - (with tops), cut into 2-inch pieces | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Chopped fresh or |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried basil leaves - crushed |
Alternate apples, chicken, bacon and onions on each of 6 metal skewers, leaving space between each and ending with apple half. Mix remaining ingredients.
Cover and grill kabobs 4 to 5 inches from medium coals 15 to 25 minutes, turning and brushing 2 or 3 times with soy sauce mixture, until chicken is done and apples are hot.
