1 cup | 237ml | Catsup |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
3 | Hot pepper sauce | |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Celery seed |
4 lbs | 1816g / 64oz | Pork spare ribs |
1 | Lemon - thinly sliced | |
1 | Onion - thinly sliced (large) |
For sauce -- combine first 8 ingredients. Simmer gently 20-25 minutes, stirring.
Salt ribs -- and put on grill medium low heat with lid closed. Cook 1 hour.
Brush ribs with sauce and peg on lemon and onion with tooth picks continue cooking ribs without turning 30-40 minutes or until done -- brushing with sauce when needed
