Papaya-Tomatillo Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Papaya - peeled, seeded, (large) coarsely chopped |
| 4 | Tomatillos - husked, (medium) coarsely chopped | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-diced red onion |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced jalapeno |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh lime juice |
| 1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Cilantro coarsely-chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Honey |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Combine the papaya, tomatillos, onions, jalapeno, lime juice, cilantro, and honey in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper.
This recipe yields about 3 cups of salsa.
