Grilled Peppers Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Thyme |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Basil |
8 | Assorted bell and hot peppers | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Mix all marinade ingredients together and set aside. Wash peppers, cut in two and remove seeds. Place peppers on plate and season well.
Pour marinade over and marinate 15 minutes. Preheat grill at medium. Oil grill. Place peppers on grill and cover; cook 12 minutes.
Turn peppers over 4 to 5 times during cooking and baste occasionally with marinade. Avoid charring peppers.
Serve at once.
