Grilled Chicken Sandwich - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cumin |
4 | Boneless skinless chicken | |
- breast halves | ||
4 | American or cheddar cheese | |
1 | Loaf French bread | |
- cut into half lengthwise | ||
Lettuce | ||
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Salsa or picante sauce |
Heat grill. Mix seasonings, sprinkle on each chicken breast.
Place chicken on grill over medium coals.
Grill 6 minutes on each side OR until cooked through.
Top with cheese slice, grill until cheese is melted.
Cut bread into 4 sandwich size sections.
For each sandwich, top bottom half of bread with lettuce, chicken salsa and top half of bread.
