Grilled Chicken Ribbons Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 | Olive oil | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon or lime juice |
3 | Garlic - minced | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Honey |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Dried thyme - crushed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Red pepper flakes |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
4 | Chicken breast halves | |
Boneless and skinless |
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken; mix well.
Cut chicken lengthwise into strips about 1 inch wide.
Thread chicken onto 8 skewers; brush generously with sauce mixture.
Grill chicken over hot coals, covered, 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through, basting with sauce once or twice. Discard remaining sauce.
