Filet Mignon with Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Filet mignon steaks - (8 ounces each) | |
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to - taste | ||
Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce: | ||
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | New Mexico-style BBQ Sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Maple syrup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Pasilla chile powder |
1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Chopped cilantro |
Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour. Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let burn down to embers. Remove filets from BBQ sauce and cook on grill for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
