Filet Mignon with Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

4   Filet mignon steaks - (8 ounces each)
  Salt and freshly ground black pepper to - taste
  
  Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce:
1 1/2 cups 355mlNew Mexico-style BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlMaple syrup
2 tablespoons 30mlPasilla chile powder
1/4 cup 4g / 0.1ozChopped cilantro

Recipe Instructions

Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour. Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let burn down to embers. Remove filets from BBQ sauce and cook on grill for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
