Classic Tri Tip Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
4 lbs | 1816g / 64oz | Beef tri-tip roast |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
1/8 cup | 29ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion - minced |
1/8 cup | 29ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
3 | Garlic cloves - crushed, up to 4 | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cayenne |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cumin |
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients marinade ingredients, and allow to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Baste meat with this marinade while grilling and use extra as a dipping sauce when serving.
