Chicken Barbecue Sauce - Dave's Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 711ml | Ketchup |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Minced onion |
1 cup | 237ml | Dry red wine |
3 cups | 279g / 9.8oz | Garlic cloves - minced (large) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ginger - grated |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dijon mustard |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Oyster sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground coriander |
Black pepper to taste |
Combine all ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
Cool and serve on the side. This freezes well.
