Tortellini With White Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Heavy cream |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sliced mushrooms |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Grated romano cheese |
| 3 oz | 85g | Prosciutto - (Italian ham), dic |
| 8 oz | 227g | Spinach tortellini |
| 2 | Garlic - chopped | |
| 8 oz | 227g | Cheese tortellini |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh or frozen peas |
| Chopped fresh parsley |
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms, garlic and prosciutto.
Sauteefor 2 to 3 minutes. Add peas, cream and cheese. Cook until sauce thickens. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain. Add tortellini to sauce. Toss until well coated. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
