Barbecue Baked Beans Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Navy beans - soaked overnight |
| 6 cups | 1422ml | Water |
| 6 oz | 170g | Bacon - chopped |
| 1 | Onion - diced | |
| 1 | Green pepper - diced | |
| 1 | Red pepper - diced | |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Grill sauce |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Cider vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Molasses |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mustard |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Any leftover smoked meat |
In a saucepan cook beans with water for 2 hours.
In a saute pan, cook bacon over moderate heat. Add onions and peppers and cook until tender.
Add remaining ingredients, including beans and bake at 250F for 45 minutes.
Serve hot.
