Kasespatzle (Spaetzle Cheese Noodles) Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter or margarine |
3 | Onions - sliced in small ring | |
3 oz | 85g | Emmenthaler cheese - grated |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
2 cups | 474ml | Spaetzle noodles |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chives - chopped |
Heat butter in frying pan, add onions, and brown lightly. Toss cheese with dry mustard. Add cooked noodles to cooked onions and cheese; mix well. Place mixture in an ovenproof casserole.
Bake at 300F for 20 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle top with chopped chives before serving.
