1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Beef chuck steak - boneless |
Into 1/2" cubes | ||
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - chopped (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
1 | Cream of celery soup - condensed | |
1 | Cream of mushroom soup condensed | |
3 | Potatoes cut into 1/2" cubes (medium) | |
3 | Carrots thinly sliced (medium) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
Shake beef, flour, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag, until beef is coated. Set aside.
Place onion and butter in a 3 qt casserole, microwave on high (100%) until onion are tender, 3-4 minutes.
Stir beef and remaining ingredients into onion sand cover.
Microwave on high (100%) for 5 minutes then reduce power to medium (50%) and continue cooking until beef and potatoes are tender, about 45 minutes, stirring after half the time.
Let stand 5-10 minutes and serve over cooked rice, noodles, or potatoes if desired.
