Foolproof Beef And Broccoli Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Boneless beef sirloin steak |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vegetable oil |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
1 | Onion - cut into wedges (medium) | |
10 1/4 oz | 291g | Campbell's cream of - broccoli soup |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Broccoli flowerets |
Hot cooked noodles |
Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips.
In skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned. Add onion. Cook for 5 minutes stirring often.
Stir in soup, water and soy sauce. Heat to boiling. Add broccoli.
Reduce to low. Cover, simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve over noodles.
TIP: To make slicing easier, freeze beef for 1 hour.
