Corned Beef Noodle Bake Recipe - Cooking Index

8 oz | 227g | Peas - cooked and drained |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Chopped onion |
1 | Corned beef brisket -- | |
Diced | ||
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Margarine |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground black pepper |
4 cups | 948ml | Milk |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Grated cheddar cheese -- |
Mild - or American | ||
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Crushed potato chips |
And corn flakes |
Cook and drain noodles. Place alternate layers of noodles, peas, onions and corned beef in greased 9x13" pan.
Melt margarine. Add flour, salt and pepper. Add 4 cups of milk.
Cook until thick. Add grated cheese. Stir to melt.
Pour over casserole. Top with crumbs.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
