Blue Cheese Tenderloin Steaks

Recipe Ingredients

4   Tenderloin steaks - 1"
  Thick
2 teaspoons 10mlOnion - minced
2 tablespoons 30mlCream cheese - softened
1   White pepper
4 teaspoons 20mlBlue cheese - crumbled
1 teaspoon 5mlGarlic clove - halved (large)
4 teaspoons 20mlPlain yogurt - low-fat if
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt - divided
  Desired
2 teaspoons 10mlParsley - chopped

Recipe Instructions

Combine cream cheese, blue cheese, yogurt, onion and pepper; reserve. Rub each side of the steaks with garlic. Place the steaks on a rack in the broiler pan so the surface of the meat is 2 to 3 inches from the heat. Broil tsp to 6 minutes.

Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Turn and broil 3 to 4 minutes. Season with remaining salt. to- each steak with an equal amount of reserved cheese mixture. Broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

Garnish with parsley. Serving suggestions: Steamed green beans with fresh lemon
