Thai Hot Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 118mlTamarind puree
6 tablespoons 90mlWater
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozChopped onion
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGround cumin
1 teaspoon 5mlJalapeno pepper; halved and seeded (large)
1   Garlic clove

Recipe Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth.

Yield: 1 cup (serving size: 1 tablespoon).

NOTES : Serve this sauce with Gallo Pinto, grilled meats, chicken, or fish, or use it as a marinade.
