Sweet Corn Cakes Recipe - Cooking Index
300 | Raw sweet corn kernels | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Curry powder |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Rice flour |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Wheat flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Light soy sauce |
Oil for deep frying | ||
Coriander | ||
Sauce | ||
2 | Garlic - finely chopped | |
1 | Chile - finely chopped | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Rice vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
In a bowl mix together the ingredients except the oil, stirring well to make a thick dough. Heat the oil. Using a spoon form the dough into small cakes and slide into the hot oil.
Deep fry until golden brown, drain and allow to cool.
Sauce: Mix ingredients together and serve with the sweet corn cakes.
