Plain Fried Rice

Recipe Ingredients

3 tablespoons 45mlVegetable oil
2 tablespoons 30mlOnion - chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlGarlic - chopped
5 cups 800g / 28ozCooked long-grain rice
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozTofu - diced
3 tablespoons 45mlSoy sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlWhite pepper
  Garnish
1 tablespoon 15mlCilantro leaves - chopped
1 cup 237mlCucumber - sliced
2 tablespoons 30mlRed & green chilies - chopped
3   Green onions - chopped
1   Lime - cut into wedges

Recipe Instructions

Heat the oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the onion & stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the garlic & stir-fry until both are golden. Add the rice & the tofu & stir-fry for 3 minutes. Sprinkle with soy sauce & white pepper. Remove from heat & place in a serving dish surrounded with garnishes.
