3 | Minced garlic cloves | |
8 oz | 227g | Shrimp - shelled, deveined |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fish sauce - (nam pla) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oyster sauce |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Sugar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Slivered green bell pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Slivered red bell pepper |
1/4 cup | 10g / 0.4oz | Sweet basil leaves |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Sliced onions |
The subtle flavor of the curry compliments the fresh flavor of the shrimp very well in this quick and easy recipe.
Heat a large skillet and add the oil, garlic and shrimp. Saute for 1 minute. Add all the other ingredients and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
