Major Grey's Chutney Toast

Recipe Ingredients

4		Italian or French bread/ 1/2" thick
2 teaspoons	10ml	Spicy brown mustard
1 cup	146g / 5.1oz	Grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons	30ml	Mango chutney (often called Major Grey's)
1		Cayenne pepper

Recipe Instructions

Toast the bread lightly on both sides. Mix together the chutney, mustard, and the cayenne in a small bowl. Spread the mixture onto the toast slices.

Divide the grated cheese among the toast slices and grill until the cheese is golden-colored and melted, between 2 and 4 minutes.

This recipe yields 3 servings.
