Cranberry Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
This relish was created specifically for my Savory Squash Soup (see recipe). But it's a sweet sauce that's also perfect for use with desserts.
Courses: Sauces2 cups | 186g / 6.6oz | Fresh cranberries |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Unsweetened grape juice |
In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer. Continue to cook for about 5 minutes, until the mixture is thick and the berries are glazed. Allow to cool. Transfer to a covered container and refrigerate until needed.
This recipe yields 1 1/2 cups.
