Basil Grilled Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Pepper - coarsely ground |
4 | Chicken breast - (skinless, boneless) | |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Fresh basil - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parmesan cheese - grated |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |

Press 3/4 t pepper into meaty sides of chicken breast halves. Combine the softened butter, the 2 T basil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt.
Grill chicken over med coals 8 - 10 minutes on each side, basting frequently. Remove chicken when internal temperature is 165F in deepest part of breast.
