Sweet Apple Cider-Nut Milk Recipe - Cooking Index
6 cups | 1422ml | Sweet apple cider - well chilled |
1 1/2 cups | 139g / 4.9oz | Blanched almonds - finely ground |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Brazil nuts - finely ground |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Nutmeg |
In a blender or food processor, combine all of the ingredients, and blend for 2 minutes. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove any lumps.
Serve as a beverage or use as a non-dairy milk substitute in your favorite recipes. Stores in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
