Tropical Fruit Salad

Recipe Ingredients

2   Ripe mangoes - peeled, chopped (large)
2   Ripe papayas - peeled, chopped
3   Ripe guavas - halved, and
  Scooped into chunks
  = (use canned guava if fresh unavailable)
8   Red grapes, preferably seedless - halved
8   White grapes, preferably seedless - halved
1   Pineapple - peeled, and (small)
  Cut into chunks
2   Bananas - peeled, sliced
1   Red apple - peeled, and
  Cut into chunks
2   Fresh figs - quartered
2   Kiwis - peeled, sliced
1 tablespoon 15mlConfectioners' sugar
1/2 cup 46g / 1.6ozSlivered almonds - toasted
1 cup 237mlLow-fat fromage blanc
  = (or plain low-fat yogurt)

Recipe Instructions

In large serving bowl, combine fruit and toss gently to mix.

Sprinkle salad with confectioner's sugar and almonds.

Serve salad with fromage blanc, if desired.
